American Drainage Systems, The Company (A.D.S.)

A.D.S. was established in the year 2000 for the purpose of better serving the contracting industry for the installation of prefabricated vertical wick drains (PVD or PV Drains). Vertical wick drains (PVD or PV Drains) are used for soil consolidation, soil stabilization & ground improvement.

Western Dynamics, Inc provided the drive manifolds to allowing A.S.D. to control high system pressure spikes and required back pressure for the hydraulic drive motors. A compact design that was mounted right on the Wick Drain Machine and required no additional plumbing. The wick machine actually inserts a fabric "wick" into the ground several hundred feet and is used to "wick" the water from the underground area to the surface for removal. Prior to using Western Dynamics, Inc manifold designs, A.S.D. was experiencing hydraulic motor failures, high system shocks and excavator contamination from hydraulic motor failures. Mr. John Case, owner of A.S.D. stated "without the problem solving provided by Western Dynamics, Inc, we would still be experiencing expensive repairs and downtime on the job".
