51,000 LB Radial Drill

Western Dynamics has just completed a stacked radial Hagglunds motor drill. With cross-port relief pressure protection, case flushing for preheating and cooling, and the ability to unload one motor for high speed operation. The first of many radial drill designs under development at Western Dynamics, Inc.

The dill is currently drilling 30" diameter holes at 60-feet depth in some very hard material.

The next 51,000 Lbs torque drill under construction will be faster, lighter and have fewer connections to the power unit.
